MIKE PODMOROFF

President & CEO, Co-Founder

Mr. Podmoroff brings to the organization over three decades of business experience, including executive management, operations, IT, marketing, commercial real estate development, acquisition/disposition, retail site selection and regulatory approvals. Mr. Podmoroff’s rich skill set in highly competitive businesses and his extensive national reach of industry contacts make him an indispensable corporate visionary.

PRITAM LONGOWAL

Principal and Co-Founder

Mr. Longowal has an extensive background in operational executive management of regulated retail businesses, including quality assurance and commissioning/setup of retail stores. He has been COO of a profitable Alberta-based regional liquor store chain for more than a decade. Mr. Longowal has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alberta.

AJAY PARMAR

Executive Vice President & Co-Founder

Mr. Parmar has nearly 20 years of successful hands-on executive business experience. During most of this period, his tenure as a partner and President of a successful property management firm has honed his skillset to include management, operations, construction management, regulatory compliance and everything in-between.

NICOLE HAMMOND

VP, Retail Merchandising

Ms. Hammond draws on more than 20 years of experience in retail and fashion. She is responsible for sourcing, stocking, pricing and presenting goods in our retail stores ensuring LUCID offers a unique and class-leading retail experience.

NATHAN HENRY

Director of Operations

Mr. Henry possesses more than two decades of business experience in all aspects of the service/hospitality management sector. During this time Mr. Henry worked with national and international chains to achieve operational consistency and created ground-level procedure controls which were crucial tools to enable him to identify advance market trends at a corporate level resulting in a more effective and profitable business operation.  Mr. Henry brings this critical results-oriented deep operational skillset to the LUCID team.

DEAN PARMAR

Mr. Parmar has over 30 years experience managing all aspects of real estate including acquisition, divestitures, financing, restructuring and asset management with AUM well over $1 billion. A founder of two property and asset management firms, Mr. Parmar remains involved in one as CEO and continues to manage over 2 million square feet of commercial real estate and 10,000 residential units.

SUNDEEP CHEEMA

Mr. Cheema has been in business for two and a half decades. During that time he has been active in national residential and commercial financing, development of large-scale residential projects, acquisition/disposition, strategic repositioning as well as national hospitality brand investment. Mr. Cheema manages a private investment company with a focus on real estate, hospitality and cannabis with AUM of over $600 million. 

DENIS TASCHUK

Mr. Taschuk has over thirty-five years business experience including manufacturing, corporate strategy, market development and finance. He spent nine years as President, Director and CEO of Radient Technologies Inc. (RTI: TSX.V).  During his time at Radient, he led the Company through the commercialization of its proprietary extraction technology, the Company’s going public transaction and its successful pivot into the Cannabis processing space as one of Canada’s largest extractors/processors. He is also co-inventor on over thirty patent applications related to the Cannabis industry.

Prior to Radient, Mr. Taschuk was a partner and CEO of JAG Flocomponents LP.  JAG Flocomponents LP manufactured industrial valves with operations in six countries and customers in over twenty countries. During his time with JAG Flocomponents, he oversaw the expansion of the Company into international markets.

Mr. Taschuk was previously a Director of the International Diabetes Federation and a Director and Chair of the Board of the Canadian Diabetes Association. He holds CPA CA designations and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta.
